The buffet at la hacienda has excessive service! The staff was terrific and attentive, specially Yaibet Martinez every morning breakfast was very friendly and professional. The resort is a beautiful place, and your beach fantastic.
What brings us back each year are the employees and the food. We also see people we see who have visited the same time as us each year. The entire hotel staff is remarkable with their sea trek cozumel suggestions. Our housekeeper always did a little more, sweet notes or small tokens.
The buffet staff is always there with more water, coffee or tequila! Ruben was still there, never an empty cup of coffee or water. In the French restaurant, Ubel was an excellent waiter, and the food was great.
We recently stayed at this resort with some friends and once again it was a great experience. Many thanks to all the staff who made this a great experience; especially Misael Hernandez and Yaibet Martinez at the breakfast/lunch buffet. Also, Adalberto, Alberto, and Jesus at the Rodizio. Ismael, the bartender at the pool bar, was great as well.
Excellent hotel, given free upgrade to palace and premium wristband due to expected noise near room we were staying in at the Tropical. Excellent service a lot of hotels would jus have expected us to put up with the sound.

We had a great time as a family of 3 at Maya palace. The service at the Buffett at the palace by Angelica Poot and her partner was terrific. Could not have asked for a better stay! The weather was great, and the a la cartes were enjoyable as well.
